What should one think of a pastor (who I actually like) and his endorsement of ultimate fighting? This pastor actually watches ultimate fighting with his 3 young sons. Is this odd?
He writes:
'Because I am a Christian pastor I now need to find something that connects all of this to being a Christian. So, I’ll just say that while young men are watching tough men compete, the reason they don’t go to most churches is because they could take the pastor and can’t respect a guy in a lemon-yellow sweater, sipping decaf and talking about his feelings.'

I just watched a minister from hawaii take on Royce Gracie in the UFC championship from like '94 or so. He had Jesus written on his belly. And he friggin fought like a man. Wow! Im not necessarily down with the jesus tat....but the tenacious effort he put up in trying to take down the reigning champ made me proud. He went 4 odd minutes and lost, where no one else could even get close. Not to mention Conan fights and another buddy also fights. Im proud of em. We are men. We act like men. Or boys. Depending on how you look at it. If someone doesnt like UFC, then dont watch it. A little blood, some sweat, maybe some tears as well.....what else have we to do?!
Jeremy, you watching the Hughes/Gracie fight in May?
Who's your pick?
