I married a REAL WOMAN!!!! And we now have a REAL SON!! As always God gives more than I deserve. Grace is good.

Congratulations, Daddy – I can just see your big smile! – Love the name!!! He looks a lot like Kacy in this third picture but I am still trying to decide (well she is prettier than you are – ha).

I am so excited for both of you – there was a time when you didn’t think this was coming. . .enjoy!

What a good natured little boy! Thanks for the lovely picture. It’s the first one I have with the baby in one of my bags. I love it. Thanks for sharing your precious bundle with us. It is great for this grandma to get to hold a little one when all of mine have “hangovers” when they sit on my lap.

My youngest is going to be 6 in December, so I really do need a “baby fix” occasionally. I know that you two are going to be great parents. I can tell how much you love this little one. He is very blessed to be provided with such godly parents.

What are you wearing today?

I am writing to share a very happy testimony of the faithfulness of GOD. A few years ago, we had some friends who wanted to have a baby. They were beginning to get discouraged. They were praying and believing God to give them a baby. They were putting their trust fully in what GOD alone could do. And they were waiting on HIM. We had the opportunity to pray with them and sensed that the LORD Jesus would answer their request, in time. We felt like we should buy some baby clothes for their future baby to demonstrate this.

Of course, the testimony is not about the gift of baby clothes. It is about the faithfulness of Almighty GOD to HIS people, who call on HIS name and put their trust in HIM! Hebrew 11:5 says, "Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed and was delivered of a child when she was past age because she judged him faithful who had promised". By faith, our friends Wes and Kacy waited on GOD and when they were least expecting it, and fully content with GOD and HIS answer, HE gave them a child. And this is not just any child, this is a son named Kyson Wesley Latham.

Kacy told me that something like the day before they went to the hospital she looked for the clothes that we had given her a few years back and she found them. She wanted to get his picture made in his "faith clothes", as she called them. HOW AWESOME IS THAT! FAITH CLOTHES! Even though it was a bit wacky, they held on to the clothes and to God's faithfulness. NOW, they are holding on to an answered prayer, a miracle from GOD, a son that has been given. PRAISE THE LIVING GOD!

If you pray for rain, carry an umbrella or two! Put on your faith clothes!
